My 8 year daughter has just been told that she has KP. We have tried Amlactin and Lac-hydrin five and they both burn her skin when we apply. She has KP on her chest, back, belly, arms, shoulders, bottom and the back of her legs. It is so bad! I just ordered some lotion called KP duty. Has everyone else found such a sensitivity to lotions? Also, I am reading that sunlight helps. I am wondering with her case being so bad, if I put her in a tanning bed for 2 minutes or so if that would help or just case more problems down the line.
