Small, hard, painless bumps. Very tiny, very patchy. Although the blemish(es) are distracting my main concern is the smaller patchy bumps that I find on the
backs of my arms, cheeks, and above my knees.
They are more irritating in regards to them just.. existing. The blemishes are a direct result of treating them like acne.
My overall goal is to indentify what it is. Keratosis affects all my current family members (mostly on the backs/sides of the upper arms) but I am the only
member having the issue afflicting the face.
I suppose I am just so sick of it that I am going to shamelessly post pictures of the worst spots/areas just to get to the solution that much sooner.
If it's obviously KP would anyone have a 'medication of choice' in regards to the FACE?
Hit 'send' too soon. I meant to say that she's had it for years and there's nothing that has made it go away completely except the sun. (We
were at the pool almost daily last summer and it went away completely. In the fall, it came back).
She is using a mild exfoliator (she uses burts bees exfoliating body wash - got it at walgreens) and loofah daily, followed by eucerin plus lotion (got it at
Walmart). It has lessened the bumps, but her face is still red. She can use foundation, though, and it does help with the redness.
I just read somewhere else that someone tried neutrogena Multi-Vitamin acne treatment for their acne, and found that it cleared up their KP. I ordered some
that I just got today, so she's going to try that starting tonight to see if it helps clear up her face.
