I was diagnosed with KP about 6 months ago. I was visiting my boyfriend in Maine and literally overnight all these bumps appeared on my upper and lower arms. I
thought I had an allergic reaction to some new food I tried so I went to the Derm and they told me it was KP... Everyone else's post I've read said
they'd had it for years, usually starting in the teens, but why is it just now starting for me... at 22? I was just wondering if any one else had
experienced this... getting it overnight after they've already hit adult hood?
KP is frustrating especially after just having gotten rid of acne (with Acutane), which I had since I was in middle school. I feel like it's acne all over
again just uncurable and by the sound of everyone it spreads to other parts, which I'm not looking forward to. Is it really worth trying to treat or
should I just give in and accept it?
im 19 yrs old from philippines. just found out i had KP just minutes ago.. i thought it was caused from allergy to chicken so i ignored it.. started when i was
13 or 14 but it was not that obvious at that time just tiny spots like dime.. now i have a bunch on my arms and wrists.. i noticed that it itches and reddens
when im in a stress phase and same as diamondjus14 i thought i almost resolved my skin problems on acne and another problem accured.. about heredity i dont
know anyone from our family who has the same skin problem as i do
I'm not quite sure when my KP started but it was probably about 6-7 years ago. The last time I remember having really really clear skin was when after I
attended a a full-on Detox Camp in Thailand (www.spasamui.com). I remember because my friends commented how great my skin looked.
Then after that the KP got worst. I'm wondering whether is it because after the detox, the system is so clean that any junk you put into it aftert that
caused the KP....
