About 4 moths ago, I made the terrible decision to cut
my long hair (was below my breasts). Now, I have shoulder length hair, and I HATE it! I'm in the quest for any tips/products/vitamins
whatever makes hair grow as fast as possible.
I am currently taking 5000 mcg of biotin, GNC Hair and Skin Vits, Flax Seed Oil, Noni, Vit C, and Vit
E. I stick to good hair products but I do use the blow-dryer often and the iron as well.
Please, please I am desperate and I refuse to get hair
extensions. Some of my friends have the ones that are braided and their hair is super damaged (specially the area that is braided).
You can also try a hot oil treatment, VO5 makes a decent one that you can buy at your local grocery store for around $4-5. It will help protect your ends to
prevent splits...
You should try to do less manipulation to your hair as breakage can severely stop u from achieving your goal. This is because the hair will be breaking off
as fast as it is growing. Watch the kninds of products you use - don't use anything with mineral oil, avoid shampoos with sodium lauryl sulfate and
products containing alcohol and cones. Try to go as natural as you can. A natural shampoo is really good choise too, and castile soap is one of the best as it
is made from olive oil, is non-stripping and smells great =P Since your hair is shoulder length, you may want to stop leaving it out and doing protective
styles. also, try to use wide tooth combs to avoid ripping out your hair. If you must trim, use a hair scissors that cuts nothing but hair and is very
sharp.
It is great that you are employing internal care to your hair as well as internal and external go together. I suggest you take a look at MSM as well as a
supplement and more protein and fresh fruits and veggies in your diet! If you have more questions, just ask!!
Only extensions are an option. Maybe the vitamins will help. If you really hate your new cut so much you should just give in and get extensions. Your hair will
survive.
Make sure you are drinking a lot of water and have a good diet, thats going to make sure your hair grows healthy, along with a multi vitamin your taking. The
heat from the iron is really not good for your hair neither is the blow dryer, but if you have to use those things than keep your hair correctly moisturized
and you should be ok.
Multi vitamin is the best thing to get healthy hair. My daughter had very thin and unhealthy hair because she never eat veggies, but a lot of sweets. When she
get pregnant doctor recommended to take multivitamins. She took and her hair in a month became healthy, thick, shiny and beautiful.
