I have been facing problems of blackheads and they seem to be getting worse. It really makes you look ugly and I am worried that if they
will ever go away. If anyone of you has been in a similar situation or may be if you people know the cure for this, please let me know.
Hi there i'm sorry to hear about your problem, so i'll try to help as much as i can. There are many products out there that claim to be the best at
removing blackheads, but it's all about finding the best for you. My sister used to have a problem and she now uses Proactiv which she claims works great
and honestly i think it does too cause her skin has never looked better. It is smooth, even-toned and clear. I don't use it cause i only get pimples
seldomly. But when i do get pimples, the Revitalizing mask from Proactiv has saved me many times! I believe it is made with sulphur which really reduces
blackheads. Personally, to prevent blackheads i use Olay warming deep purifying cleanser (which is awesome) every other day, plus i use a non-alcoholic toner
which does not strip my skin. i find that using pore strips really help and i use them as needed. My skin regimen also includes at home facials 2x a week and
moisturizing at night. Don't forget to use a good moisturizer that is non-comedogenic (does not clog pores) and has an SPF of at least 15 (I use olay
Complete All Day Moisturizing Lotion). For blackheads i find that you can steam your skin to open up your pores right before doing a facial (that's how thw
pros do it) to maximize absorption!
Try using a blackhead clearing scrub twice a week. Your pores are basically clogged and need to be flushed out. When you wash your face, try switching the
water to cold right before you're finished - this trick will tighten the pores. You may also want to check into getting monthly facials. If you don't
see a change, after a month or so, you may want to consult a dermatologist.
