Happy Holidays!!! Hello all this is my first post here. So glad I found somewhere i can post some questions on KP. My son Wyatt has had these bumps on him since he was 6 months old. I have had numeruos doctors tell me it was everything from dry skin to excema. Just recently i had to take him to dermatologist for another rash and he confirmed what it was for me. Im glad to find out that its only this and not something serious. My questions are. What do i put on it to make it softer? Is there any particular soaps i should avoid? Does this mean he needs a stronger sunscreen in the summer? Also is there anyone else here that has it on thier faces? Wyatt has it all over both his cheeks. I want to help him as much as possible with this the poor kid has enough other problems without this irritation. He has asthma and severe sinus congestion along with nasal polyps which are rare in kids his age. He also has a bleeding disorder and hes allergic to everything from penicillin to cats. I really appreciate any help at all. One more thing. He gets these big bumps about the size of pencil eraser that get a white head that looks like a pimple. Is this part of KP? Should i just leave them alone? Thank you in advance for those who respond.
