I just wanted to say that I've been working on losing a bit of weight and have realised that cycling really is the way forward. I used to run, and always got bored after 20 minutes, and also found that it forced my heart rate above fat burning levels. Recently, I've got myself a bike and it's so much more enjoyable and motivating. I can happily spend an hour at a time cycling without getting bored.
